Skip Shuda
Skip is co-founder of Philly Marketing Labs, a Social Media and Internet Marketing Strategy company that partners with growing businesses to provide visibility to profitability using goal-driven dashboards. Skip and his team employ Social and Search channels coupled with community building tactics to drive results.
Prior to Philly Marketing Labs, Skip was the Founder and CEO of Team and a Dream, a web marketing agency for well-funded startups, small and mid-sized businesses seeking to extend their reach through web-based marketing.
Skip serves on the advisory board of a number of technology startups (123Linkit, CityRyde, PlaySay) and teaches entrepreneurship at the Wharton Small Business Development Center. His volunteer work includes donating time to The Philadelphia Academy, Integral Philly and The Main Social Media Meetup.
Skip has Certificate level training in Integral Theory (study of human perspectives), Holacracy (system of agile governance), Role-based Assessment (team building typology), SEO, Landing Page Optimization and Web Analytics. Yasmine Mustafa
Yasmine is the founder and CEO of 123LinkIt.com, a website that helps bloggers generate affiliate revenue from their blog.123LinkIt was the 2010 winner of Temple University's Business Plan Competition and was featured in Philadelphia Magazine. Prior to 123Linkit, she was a Marketing Consultant for Team and a Dream.
Yasmine Mustafa graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in December of 2006. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration as an Entrepreneurship major. She was also given "The Entrepreneurship Award" - an award given out to one graduate per year to honor the student with the highest GPA in that major. Email: yasmine@123linkit.com
A litte History
The Cheap Revolution blog was originally part of Team and a Dream, a company that focused on helping entrepreneurs build their business. Skip Shuda and Yasmine Mustafa co-created the blog as part of their work with Team and a Dream.
Team and a Dream was reborn in January of 2011 as Philly Marketing Labs. Philly Marketing Labs offers marketing services for mid-sized businesses. They provide Social Media Marketing, SEO, Paid Search, Conversion Optimization and Analytics services.
Since the business had turned towards a more traditional business market, the blog wasn't getting the attention it deserved. We needed to revive the site as a free resources for entrepeneurs, startups and do-it-yourself small businesses. On November 17, 2011 Cheap Revolution was spun-out from Philly Marketing Labs under the guidance of the original creators.
